The first Covid-19 vaccine was approved for us in the U.S. this week but many questions surround its safety and effectiveness. Rick Sommers and I had the opportunity to discuss all of these concerns and much more with Dr. Brian McDonough.
Dr. McDonough is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine and Chairman of theFamily Medicine Dept. at St. Francis Healthcare, Wilmington, DE. He is also a contributor on 1010 WINS and KYW News radio in New York and Philadelphia and has had numerous appearances on TV as a medical expert, such as the Today Show.
While this interview doesn’t get political, it does get honest. Dr. McDonough, while for the most part a proponent for the vaccine, is quite honest about the unknown future post vaccination.
It’s a truly informative podcast with no agenda, no partisanship to any Big Pharma companies and no need to bring politics into the importance of how this vaccine could potential squelch this pandemic.
